Soccer Game Preview: Bayless vs. Principia

The Bayless Bronchos will head out to face off against the Principia Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Principia took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bayless, who comes in off a win.

Bayless barely beat Hancock the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bronchos blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Wednesday. Considering Bayless have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Principia took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Metro. Principia hasn't had much luck with Metro recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bayless has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matches. As for Principia, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Bayless skirted past Principia 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bronchos since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
