            Volleyball Recap: HEM Miners vs. Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            HEM was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They fell  3-1 to the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Vikings this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  2-0  loss  last Saturday.
 While HEM ultimately came up short, they really made  Guernsey-Sunrise work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 27-25,  25-13.
 Guernsey-Sunrise got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Dymond Dimas out in front who  had 18  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  Dimas has posted  over her last six  matches.
HEM's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Guernsey-Sunrise, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.
 Coincidentally, HEM and Guernsey-Sunrise will both be playing Lingle-Fort Laramie the next time they take the court. The Miners will head out to face the Doggers at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Vikings will  host them  at 5:30  p.m.  on  the 16th.
