Basketball Recap: Brentsville District Comes Up Short

Brentsville District was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Kettle Run Cougars, falling 77-39. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-62 last Monday.

Brentsville District's record now sits at 1-19. As for Kettle Run, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Brentsville District has already played their next contest (against James Wood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kettle Run, they will head out to face off against Fauquier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fauquier's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
