Baseball Recap: Paxton Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Paxton won the last time they faced West Florida Baptist Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Paxton Bobcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors, sneaking past 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

The team relied heavily on Case Moore, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Cade Stewart was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Paxton's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.
