Volleyball Game Preview: St. Helena Saints vs. Middletown Mustangs + How To Watch

The St. Helena Saints will take on the Middletown Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Middletown took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Helena, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, St. Helena beat Lower Lake 3-1.

St. Helena had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Fort Bragg. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Timberwolves since August 24, 2023.

Middletown took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

St. Helena's victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-13. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-22.
