Basketball Recap: South Coffeyville Takes a Loss

South Coffeyville lost against Nowata back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The South Coffeyville Lions were beaten by the Nowata Ironmen 74-33. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Coffeyville and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Nowata, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

South Coffeyville will take on Bluejacket at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nowata, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-54 win against Oklahoma Union on the 17th.
