A well-balanced attack led Whitney Young over Morgan Park in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Whitney Young Dolphins blew the Morgan Park Mustangs out of the water with an 83-26 final score. The Dolphins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 27 points or more this season.

Leading Whitney Young to victory were Destiny Jackson and Jordyn Ellis. Jackson dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Ellis went 10 for 15 on her way to 24 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The contest was Jackson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Alana Shields was another key player, putting up three points along with nine steals and eight assists.

Whitney Young was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Whitney Young's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Morgan Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
