High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the Eastern Guilford Wildcats. One positive for the Bison, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Eastern Guilford, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

High Point Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Northeast Guilford on the 18th. As for Eastern Guilford, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-2 loss against Rockingham County on the 18th.
