John Paul II won the last time they faced Wilson Hall and things went their way on Saturday too. The John Paul II Golden Warrriors breezed by the Wilson Hall Barons to the tune of 65-36. The Golden Warrriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

John Paul II's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elliana Heathcott, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals Heathcott has posted since back in November of 2024. Lauren Majorkiewicz was another key player, going 6 of 10 en route to 16 points and four steals.

John Paul II was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for John Paul II and bumps their season record up to 15-4. As for Wilson Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.

John Paul II is taking a road trip to face off against Laurence Manning Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Paul II knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Laurence Manning Academy likes a good challenge. As for Wilson Hall, they will welcome Hilton Head Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
