Baseball Recap: Blackwell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Newkirk last Thursday, Blackwell came back down to earth. Blackwell took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rejoice Christian Eagles on Saturday.

Blackwell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Estep, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Estep's first of the season.

Blackwell's record is now 2-9. As for Rejoice Christian, their record now sits at 6-12.

Coming up, Blackwell will be playing at home against Crossings Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rejoice Christian, they will host Stillwater at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
