Academy of Science and Innovation had won 12 straight games and Maiara Rodriguez did her part to make it 13 on Monday. The Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Civic Leadership Eagles 53-26 which was due in part to Rodriguez, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 17 games she's played.

Academy of Science and Innovation pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.6 points. As for Civic Leadership, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of Science and Innovation will square off against Bridgeport International Academy/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Civic Leadership, they will challenge Griswold at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
