Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for East Hamilton's offense. They came up short against Boyd-Buchanan on Friday, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Hurricanes were not able to get on the board.

East Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Soddy Daisy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12-1.

Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Soddy Daisy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like East Hamilton struggles in that department as they've averaged .343. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
