Basketball Recap: Denbigh Comes Up Short

Denbigh lost against Phoebus back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Denbigh Patriots took a 46-28 bruising from the Phoebus Phantoms. The Patriots' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Denbigh's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Phoebus, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denbigh has already played their next matchup (against Heritage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Phoebus is taking a road trip to challenge Northwest Halifax at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
