With a playoff win on the line, Rome rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 38-28 win over the Houston County Bears. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Houston County's loss came despite strong showings from Austin Stinson and Mj Mathis. Stinson gained 185 total yards, while Mathis picked up 81 receiving yards and one score. Stinson showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 63 yards. Houston County also got help from Jeffery Thomas, who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.

Rome's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Houston County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 10-2.

Rome didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-17 victory against Jackson County on the 28th. Houston County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
