Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Trinity Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parish Episcopal Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Hannah Coleman made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Parish Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity Christian will face off against rival Nolan Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Parish Episcopal is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
