On Wednesday Payton Palmer posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The effort also marked the most assists (two) Palmer has had since back in November of 2024. Perhaps unsurprisingly, she's been consistent in that area too: the match was her sixth straight with two or more. This season, she has averaged 10 points, 1.5 steals, and 7.4 boards.

Palmer and Edmund Burke Academy will challenge Westminster Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Lions, probably because Palmer had a solid game then too: she earned 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
