Volleyball Recap: Baystate Academy Has No Trouble Against Frontier Regional

Baystate Academy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Frontier Regional Red Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for Baystate Academy, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

One reason for the win was Baystate Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-9.

Baystate Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Frontier Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Baystate Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Taconic at 5:30 p.m. The last three games the Thunder have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Frontier Regional, they will head out to challenge Amherst-Pelham Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
