Delano waltzed into their match on Friday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They came out on top against the North Polars by a score of 2-0.

Delano was led to victory by Braylee Rue and Kaelyn Wittwer. Rue had five digs and two aces, while Wittwer had four digs and two aces. What's more, Rue racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in September. Mallory Suska also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Delano was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

Delano's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Delano wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Grand Rapids on the 10th. As for North, they will head out on the road to challenge Two Rivers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
