Volleyball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Comes Up Short

Kasson-Mantorville suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Komets of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Kasson-Mantorville was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

Kasson-Mantorville's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8. As for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

Kasson-Mantorville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, after both having extra time off, they and Cannon Falls will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
