South Haven hadn't done well against Brandywine recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Bobcats on Thursday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

South Haven saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Dotson, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

South Haven's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-7-1. As for Brandywine, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-4-2.
