Recap: Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans vs. Campbell-Savona Panthers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Avoca-Prattsburgh Titans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-27 victory over Campbell-Savona on the road. The win was just what Avoca-Prattsburgh needed coming off of a 64-43 loss in their prior contest.
Macoy Putnam continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Putnam is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dan Stilson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Campbell-Savona's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chance Miller, who scored seven points.
Avoca-Prattsburgh's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Campbell-Savona, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Canisteo-Greenwood the next time they take the court. Avoca-Prattsburgh will head out to face Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Campbell-Savona will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
