Recap: Whitewater Wildcats vs. Northgate Vikings
The Whitewater Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Northgate 77-19. Whitewater was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.
Leading Northgate to victory were Randria Wilcher and DeAsia Stinson. Wilcher scored 22 points, while Stinson dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Stinson has scored at least 25% of Northgate's points. Another player making a difference was Chanira Isaac, who scored 12 points.
Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northgate, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitewater will square off against McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northgate will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Banneker at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Banneker will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Northgate is ranked 60th).
