Basketball Recap: Seymour Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Seymour had won three straight road games and Joey Carrafiello did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Seymour Wildcats secured a 64-59 W over the Kennedy Eagles thanks in part to Carrafiello, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Shane White, who posted 13 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Seymour is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Kennedy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Seymour will be playing at home against St. Paul Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy has already played their next game, a 62-54 defeat against Waterbury Career Academy on the 5th.
