Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Richmond Hill entered their tilt with Colquitt County on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 47-42 W over the Colquitt County Packers. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Packers two weeks ago, they had to take a 50-37 defeat.

Colquitt County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Amareyia Knighton, who posted 22 points. Another player making a difference was Amira Walters- Smith, who scored 16 points.

Richmond Hill's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Colquitt County, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-5.

Coincidentally, Richmond Hill and Colquitt County will both be playing Lowndes the next time they take the court. Colquitt County will host Lowndes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Richmond Hill will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
