Softball Game Preview: Mountain Pointe Pride vs. Campo Verde Coyotes + Official Tickets

Mountain Pointe hasn't had much luck against Campo Verde recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pride will head out to challenge the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Pointe has given up an average of 20 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mountain Pointe lost 24-1 to Gilbert on Friday.

Delaney Wishart made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, in Monday's Canine Competition, Campo Verde didn't have enough. They fell just short of Horizon by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Anna Zehring was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mountain Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Campo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Mountain Pointe might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from Campo Verde in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Pride avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
