Riverside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Huntingdon get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Christian Lucarelli's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sean Hayes and Hunter Garvin did most of the damage at the plate: Hayes got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Garvin went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Dylan Meyer, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Riverside hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huntingdon struck out seven times.
Titusville typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Mohawk Area proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Rockets.
Jackson Chapman was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April. Cash Stratton was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Mohawk Area's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Riverside hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Mohawk Area struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
