The Charlotte Orioles can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Sexton 49-29. Charlotte's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Charlotte got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaelyn Baker out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The contest was Baker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Peyton Howarth was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Charlotte's victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for Sexton, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Ionia the next time they take the court. Charlotte will host Ionia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sexton will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
