Soccer Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

If Evergreen was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Thomas Jefferson last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Columbine Rebels on Monday. Evergreen were not able to make up for their loss to Columbine from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Evergreen's goal came courtesy of Miles Buchanan, who's now up to two this season.

Evergreen now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbine, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Evergreen will head out to challenge Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Evergreen's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Columbine, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Douglas County on the 11th.
