Ridgeview has gone 8-2 against Clay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will square off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Ridgeview has given up an average of 59 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ridgeview is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Providence School on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers took a blow against the Stallions, falling 72-40. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Clay came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Kodiaks as they made off with a 47-25 win. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Clay's win came from a few key players that Ridgeview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addison Lilly, who posted six points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Layla Summers, who had eight points and eight boards.

Clay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. They are 16-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Clay's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Ridgeview came up short against Clay in their previous meeting last Friday, falling 47-43. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
