There's no place like home for Providence Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Southwestern Randolph Cougars 10-1 on Thursday. Providence Grove might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Southwestern Randolph with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Taryn Waugh (5), Rylee Stover (3), and Sarah Hendricks (2).

Providence Grove's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four matchups. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Providence Grove and Southwestern Randolph will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Patriots see the pitch they'll take on Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Southwestern Randolph, their break will end when they face Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
