Baseball Game Preview: St. Charles Pirates vs. Warrenton Warriors

St. Charles hasn't had much luck against Warrenton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates will square off against the Warriors at 4:15 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

St. Charles is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since April 21st on Monday. They lost 11-1 to Pacific.

Meanwhile, Warrenton fell victim to St. Francis Borgia and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Warriors couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Warrenton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kale Lehmkuhl, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Warrenton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

St. Charles suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Warrenton in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
