Pioneer lost to Lincoln back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Pioneer walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 20-25, 27-25.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pioneer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eva Rhyasen, who had 19 digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Rhyasen a new career-high in assists (78). Another player making a difference was Mary Gonzalez, who had 17 digs and two assists.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Willow Glen on the 18th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Santa Teresa on the 17th.
