Hurley hadn't done well against Butternut recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Northstars came out on top against the Midgets by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Hurley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18.

Hurley's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Butternut, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Hurley has already played their next matchup (against Bessemer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Butternut, they will challenge Bayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
