Recap: Baker Bobcats vs. Chicago Washington Patriots

The Baker Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 50-18 loss at the hands of Chicago Washington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Baker has scored all season.

Chicago Washington had a senior duo take command as Alexis Levinson scored 14 points and Jenna Aguilera scored 14 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Levinson has scored at least 25% of Chicago Washington's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Scalone, who scored eight points.

Baker bumped their record down to 2-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Chicago Washington, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baker will face off against Golder on Tuesday. Golder's defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so Baker's offense will have their work cut out for Baker. Chicago Washington won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chicago Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th.
