Football Game Preview: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Empire Ravens + How To Watch

The Rincon/University Rangers will square off against the Empire Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rincon/University hasn't scored more than 12 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Rincon/University managed to slip by Cholla the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rangers had to suffer through a 36-0 loss at the hands of the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Empire came up short against Sahuarita on Friday and fell 34-21. The Ravens were down 27-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Rincon/University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Empire, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6.

Rincon/University suffered a grim 43-20 defeat to Empire when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Rangers, Brycen Duncan (who threw for 181 yards and three TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
