Recap: Torrance Tartars vs. Redlands Terriers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Torrance Tartars had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Redlands by a score of 21-14. The victory was familiar territory for Torrance who now have four in a row.
Redlands' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Fraire, who threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
Torrance has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Redlands, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Torrance will be playing in front of their home fans against Hemet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hemet is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. Redlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
