Basketball Game Preview: Twin Springs Titans vs. Central Wise Warriors

Twin Springs hasn't had much luck against Central Wise recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Twin Springs Titans will be playing at home against the Central Wise Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Twin Springs strolled past Rye Cove with points to spare, taking the game 50-36.

Meanwhile, Central Wise waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over the Bears. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Bears are ranked 193rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Twin Springs back to even at 6-6. As for Central Wise, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
