Carlyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Heyworth Hornets 48-0.

Carlyle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Heyworth, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Carlyle will head out to challenge Red Bud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Indians/Lady Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Heyworth, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Tremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
