Football Game Preview: Saint Mary's Panthers vs. Pinole Valley Spartans + Official Tickets

The Saint Mary's Panthers will square off against the Pinole Valley Spartans at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Saint Mary's is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Saint Mary's came up short against De Anza and fell 27-14.

Although Saint Mary's took the loss, they still got scores from Aluzio Zarnowiecki and Wyatt Swanson.

Meanwhile, Pinole Valley played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 56-26 loss at the hands of Vallejo. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Saint Mary's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pinole Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Saint Mary's barely slipped by Pinole Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 27-26. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
