Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Harrison

The Hamilton Big Blue will head out on the road to take on the Harrison Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hamilton is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Mt. Healthy get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Hamilton with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Harrison is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of East Central. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 1-0. Harrison wouldn't have won without Abby Smith, who scored the game-winner.

Harrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-1.

Hamilton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Harrison in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Big Blue avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
