Volleyball Recap: Carrollwood Day Takes a Loss

Carrollwood Day lost against North Tampa Christian Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Titans. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.

North Tampa Christian Academy was led to victory by Alejandro Monserrate and Jeremy Torres. Monserrate had four digs and two aces, while Torres had seven digs and two assists. The dominant performance also gave Monserrate a new career-high in assists (21).

Carrollwood Day's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Carrollwood Day will face off against Winthrop College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, they will square off against Sarasota Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
