Soccer Game Preview: Coronado vs. Eldorado + How To Watch

The Coronado Cougars will square off against the Eldorado Firehawks at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Coronado is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Liberty, who was ranked sixth at the time (Coronado was ranked first). The Cougars' defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. Fans of Coronado have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Dylan Flores and Gavin Flickinger scored all six of Coronado's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 66 goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eldorado). They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Desert Oasis on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Eldorado considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Eldorado, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 4-8-2.
