Baseball Recap: Rosebud-Lott Takes a Loss

Rosebud-Lott entered their contest against Thorndale on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rosebud-Lott Cougars took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thorndale Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Rosebud-Lott and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1. As for Thorndale, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Rosebud-Lott Cougars face off against Bremond Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thorndale, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Granger at 1:00 p.m. Thorndale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
