Softball Recap: Honey Grove Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

While Honey Grove's win against Whitewright wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Tigers 9-8. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Honey Grove's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Whitewright, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.
