Volleyball Recap: Wildwood Comes Up Short

Wildwood lost against Vistamar last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

While Wildwood had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

Wildwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Vistamar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wildwood will venture away from home to take on New Roads at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Vistamar, they will take on Chadwick at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
