Basketball Game Preview: McLain Science & Tech Titans vs. Okmulgee Bulldogs

The McLain Science & Tech Titans will venture away from home to take on the Okmulgee Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Okmulgee took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on McLain Science & Tech, who comes in off a win.

McLain Science & Tech is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Central 65-11 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Titans with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Okmulgee was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against KIPP Tulsa University Prep, falling 65-13. While losing is never fun, Okmulgee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while KIPP Tulsa University Prep is ranked 211th).

Okmulgee's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for McLain Science & Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-12.

Everything went McLain Science & Tech's way against Okmulgee in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as McLain Science & Tech made off with a 52-32 win.
