Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win + How To Watch

While Roosevelt didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Seattle Academy Cardinals by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roughriders.

Roosevelt walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Seattle Academy lost, don't look at Maeve Campbell. Despite the final result, she had 25 assists.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Seattle Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, Roosevelt and Seattle Academy will both be playing West Seattle the next time they take the court. The Roughriders will host West Seattle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cardinals will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
