Volleyball Recap: The Burlington School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Burlington School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Clover Garden School Grizzlies. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

While The Burlington School ultimately came up short, they really made Clover Garden School work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-19, 25-10.

Eryn Timmons paced The Burlington School's offense, picking up five kills. Timmons really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. Makari DuBose controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The Burlington School's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Clover Garden School, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

The Burlington School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Carolina Friends on the 16th. Clover Garden School has also already played their next contest (against Ascend Leadership), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
