Soccer Recap: DeSoto Central Comes Up Short

DeSoto Central lost against Lewisburg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0.

DeSoto Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Lewisburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. DeSoto Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lewisburg will take on rival Southaven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
