Baseball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Bradshaw Mountain won the last time they faced Mingus and things went their way on Monday too. The Bradshaw Mountain Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mingus Marauders 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Bradshaw Mountain got a great performance from Jeremy Reynolds as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, Reynolds posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Bradshaw Mountain's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nitesh Patel, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Donovan Bayard also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Bradshaw Mountain's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Mingus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Mountain will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Paradise Honors at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mingus, they will take on Eastmark at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastmark is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
